Early in the month of December 2013, Team Fiesta Fun Club had contacted Popawala Balashram for a list of preferred gifts. It was decided to collect contributions in cash and buy gifts and snacks for a Christmas party for the 90 children at the Home. A week before Christmas, Team Fiesta circulated an email announcing the planned visit and inviting participation from team members. Contributions poured in from Essarites, associates, as well as workers on the shop floor. On the afternoon of December 26, after completing their shift, a group of 30 members of Team SMP-2, including two dressed up like Santa gathered the gifts – shoes in different sizes and wrist watches – and piled into buses for the two-hour trip to the orphanage.

Words cannot express the precious moments shared with the children. The visit began with Santa Claus greeting the children and filling the place with music, dance and games. The kids were happy to showcase their dancing and singing talents and win prizes. Goodies were distributed amongst all the kids and in return their gleaming faces were a gift to all present.
