Watch how an all-woman team from rural Surat has transformed a dumping yard into a sprawling hydroponic tomato farm. The soil-less farm uses coco peat, a soil substitute made from coconut husk, while the pots are recycled paint tubs. The farm’s water consumption is much lower than that of traditional tomato cultivation. Here’s proof that where there is the will to make a difference, there is certainly a sustainable way!
