Various aspects such as hygiene and sanitation, and the disease’s communicable nature were discussed. People were also made aware of preventive measures that need to be taken. Mr Vinod Pandey from Essar Foundation emphasized the need to maintain cleanliness, not only at home, but also in the surroundings.
More than 150 people including staff members of the health department were given masks to help prevent an epidemic. After the camp, a door-to-door campaign was also carried out with field workers and 300 masks were distributed among villagers.
