Essar Foundation was adjudged the winner for 'CSR Leadership Award' at the '7th National Conference and Game Changer Awards' on January 21, 2017 at an event held in Mumbai. The award was received by Mr Deepak Arora, CEO, Essar Foundation.
The CSR Leadership award recognizes organizations in CSR leadership that have not only made a difference to the society through their own efforts but also are a role model for other organizations. The jury for the award comprised personalities associated with international development agencies, academia, corporate sector and government organizations. The Award was organized by the HR Club, which is a network of HR professionals in the industry and has over 40,000 members across the country.
The HR Club provides a platform for sharing information, best practices, survey results, experiences and learning. The event was attended by several business leaders, CSR heads, domain experts and academicians.
