Times Ascent has placed Essar Foundation among the top 50 organisations to work for in India, from 500 companies that applied for the prestigious award. The Foundation is part of its list of ‘Dream Companies to Work for 2016’. The award was presented to Mr Deepak Arora, CEO, Essar Foundation by Times Ascent and the World HRD Congress.
Mr Deepak Arora said, “It is an honor to be listed among the top 50 companies in the country. The very fact that we are the only corporate foundation to make it to the list is an acknowledgement of Essar’s continuous efforts in conducting all its activities in a socially responsible and sustainable way, with an aim to achieve simultaneous development of its businesses as well as the wider community.”
At another event, the ABP News Global CSR Excellence & Leadership Awards held on 17th February, 2016, the World CSR Congress awarded Essar Foundation under the Outstanding Social Impacts category for its Comprehensive Water Resources Development project in Jamnagar and Devbhumi Dwarka districts.
