Essar Projects’ Heavy Engineering Services bags Gujarat Safety Council Award

Essar Projects’ Heavy Engineering Services (EHES), Hazira, received the state level safety award from the Gujarat Safety Council and Directorate of Industrial Health and Safety, Government of Gujarat. The award was presented during the 36th State Level Annual Safety Conference held in Rajkot on January 23, 2015.



EHES received the Gujarat Safety Council Award (a rotating trophy), a certificate for the lowest incident rate and a certificate of honor for strengthening its voluntary efforts to achieve excellence in safety management. It won the awards for its performance in 2013.

The awards were presented by Mr Vijay Rupani, Minister for Transport, Water Supply, Labour and Employment, Government of Gujarat, and Mr Sanjay Prasad, IAS, Principal Secretary - Department of Labour, Gujarat. Mr Sohail Vyas, HSE - EHES, accepted the award on behalf of Essar.
