On July 21, 2012, 14 Essarites from the Kurla and Mahalaxmi offices in Mumbai spent some quality time with the children at the Agripada center of Mobile Crèche, a non-profit organization working with the children of construction workers in the areas of education, health and nutrition.
The Foundation lent its support to Mobile Crèche after witnessing the commitment the organization has towards the children, taking up the task of educating them against the challenges of migration, language and low learning levels.
On the day, following a briefing by the Crèche team, the Essar volunteers participated in a fun painting session with the theme of the monsoon.
Essarites spread out among the children, aged 6 to 10, and helped them to create their own rainbows with paper and water colors.
The children took to the task enthusiastically, helped along by the volunteers.
