"Having good equipment to work on obviously makes the learning as real as possible, within a controlled environment, so it’s essential for good development,” explains Mr John Blunden, Head of Maintenance, EOUKL. "We invited the TTE trainers to select any equipment from the unit which they deemed suitable, got the Essar technicians and phase 3 TTEs to remove the kit, strip it down, clean, overhaul and paint it to be taken back as new, which was a great exercise in itself."

Commenting on the gesture, Ms Anne Cannon, Training and Delivery Manager, TTE, said "We at TTE are grateful to Essar for the kind donation of this equipment which we will fully integrate into our delivery of 'real' process and engineering training to our young learners."
