The India Manufacturing Excellence Awards (IMEA) recognizes companies that demonstrate the best practices in a variety of regional and global markets. This coveted award program provides detailed benchmarking and assessment processes to improve businesses. The awards have been jointly instituted by Frost & Sullivan, a global growth consulting firm, and the leading financial newspaper, Economic Times.
The award is the outcome of an audit conducted by a three-member assessment team from Frost & Sullivan. The team judged the EOL refinery at Vadinar based on various parameters. The Vadinar refinery was recognized for its infrastructure planning, technology and technical competency, maturity of supply chain systems, emergency preparedness, awareness and innovation in the product and process fronts. The refinery also received a certificate of participation for the project titled “Refinery Sat Gases Utilization for HMU-1 feed” in the Value Enhancer segment of the IMEA.
Mr PR Dixit, Head-HSEF, EOL, and Mr Jaideo Girhepunje of the HSEF team at Vadinar received the award from Mr Nitin Kalothia, Director, Global Manufacturing Leader - Frost & Sullivan.
