Essar Foundation, in association with John Snow, Inc. India is organising a roundtable, as part of its ongoing Knowledge Series. The roundtable is set to discuss public health in India, as well as the global best practices of Corporate Social Responsibility health programmes. This event will be the first, in a series of three roundtables under the title Improving Public Health in India: The Power of Partnerships. This one of a kind initiative aims to become an effective knowledge sharing avenue for corporate India and academia.
This roundtable will be graced by KV Ramani, professor and researcher with the Center for Management of Health Services at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) and the author of two books including the recently published Global Public Health Policies: Case Studies from India on Planning and Implementation;
and Kumkum Amin, associate director at the leading public health consulting firm, John Snow Inc. (JSI).
