Essar Oil organized a blood donation camp on September 18, 2011, at Aradhna Dhaam in Vadinar, Gujarat. The camp was in the memory of Subodh Kumar Nanda, father of Dr SK Nanda, Principal Secretary, Department of Forest & Environment, Government of Gujarat.
A total of 55 bottles of blood were donated by Essarites with stellar support from staff and doctors of GG Hospital. The event was attended by chief guest RK Shah, a leading industrialist of Jamnagar; Mr Kamboj, Chief Conservator of Forest; as well as the vice-president of Khambhalia Taluka, and the sarpanches of Kajurda, Nana Mandha, Mota Mandha, Sinhan and Parodiya villages.
