Essar Oil wins 'Best HR Strategy' Silver Award from Greentech Foundation

Essar Oil Limited (EOL) was recently given the Silver Award by the Greentech Foundation for the 'Best HR Strategy' in the oil and gas category. The Greentech HR Awards are presented to companies/units demonstrating the highest level of commitment to HR practices that understand the intrinsic value of Human Resource Management in business excellence. The awards aim to recognize exemplary operations, systems and the evidence of their impact to business vitality. The 3rd annual Greentech HR Awards event was held on April 19, 2013 at Goa.

Mr Vijay Deshpande, Head – HR (Marketing) and Mr Zubin Bhesadia, Head – HR (Corporate & IST) received the prestigious award on behalf of EOL. The event was attended by winners and delegates from several business sectors pan-India. The award was presented by Mr Shripad Naik, Lok Sabha MP and President of the Goa state unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party, and Mr Kamleshwar Sharan, President, Greentech Foundation. The function was presided over by Mr Bhaskar Chatterjee, Director General and CEO, Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs.
