The Company has paid interest on all Non Convertible Debentures of Rs. 105/- each (debentures) and redeemed the entire principal amount of the debentures except for holders of debentures holding more than 2000 debentures.
As per applicable provisions of the Companies Act, 1956, the Company is retaining all unclaimed debenture interest / redemption amounts for seven years from the respective date(s) of payment. If you have not received any of the debenture dues, you may please contact the Share Transfer Agent, M/s Datamatics Financial Services Ltd. with relevant particulars of debenture folio number / DP/Client ID, name of the investor, etc. and we shall arrange to pay the debenture dues if it remains unpaid in our records.
After the end of seven years from the date of last payment, the outstanding unclaimed amount with the Company is being transferred to Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) maintained by the Central Government.
In terms of the Investor Education and Protection Fund (Uploading of Information regarding unpaid and unclaimed amounts lying with companies) Rules, 2012 (Rules) the company has reported to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs the details of the unclaimed amounts lying unclaimed with the Company in respect of the debenture dues as of 27th September, 2013 (the date of the last AGM).
In compliance with the Rules, set out below are the statements containing details of the investors and the sums lying unclaimed with the Company as of 27th September, 2013.
Please note that out of the above, the Company has transferred to IEPF the debenture dues that were paid on 31/12/2006 and were lying unencashed and unclaimed with the Company for a period of 7 years (upto 31/12/2013).
