Mumbai, 14th October, 2015: Essar Foundation partnered with Indian School of Business (ISB) and NextGen, to organize a roundtable at Equinox Business Park, BKC, Mumbai to deliberate the trends and challenges of Corporate Social Responsibility programmes.
The theme of the discussion was ‘How to identify and implement CSR initiatives that improve long term performance of the company’. A presentation on Responsible Business Framework by Prof Sanjay Kallapur and Prof Ram Nidumolu brought about academic perspective on strategic CSR. There were further deliberations on topics like ‘what is strategic CSR’, ‘how does the business perceive CSR’, ‘visibility of CSR Vs impact’, and ‘strategic evolution of CSR in India’.
