Mr Imdad Ali, Manager, EPTCL, volunteered to handpick stories with a message. He then told these stories animatedly and with great joy. The children enjoyed the stories and also interactively discussed the learning from each one.

This was followed by an interesting exercise where children were divided into two groups. Two different pictures were shown to each group and members were asked to create a story based on the picture and share it with everyone. Children came up with unexpectedly interesting stories and told them happily. The student who told the best story from each group was given a special prize, besides participation prizes for all participants. Parents and guardians of several students were present at the event.

Kamlesh Tiwari, a parent, shared his thoughts: “It is a very good initiative by Essar Foundation. Such activities help in keeping children engaged in creative things during their holidays. Besides, they get to hear new stories from which they learn.”
