Essar Foundation and Essar Agrotech held the Annual Sports Meet at the Essar-supported NK Ruia Secondary School in Tung village, Lonavala.
Several sporting events were organised during the three-day event (16-18 December 2015), including kabaddi, kho-kho, long jump, 100-metre sprint, chess, carom, cricket, discus and javelin throwing.
Around 200 students—from classes V to X—participated in the meet. The winners will receive their prizes at a ceremony that is slated to be held on Republic Day (26th January 2016).
