A significant safety milestone at the Essar Oil UK Stanlow refinery has resulted in a £3,000 donation to Brainwave - a charity for improving lives of differently abled children. The Essar Oil refinery at Stanlow recently achieved five million hours without a Lost Time Injury and through its ‘Let’s Give’ programme, which links charitable giving to safety, made the contribution to Brainwave.
Brainwave work with children with a wide range of conditions and developmental needs, including cerebral palsy, genetic conditions, Down’s syndrome, autism and developmental delay. The charity now impacts the lives of over 600 children, with its growth and regional outreach driven by a commitment to bring measurable improvements to the lives of children with physical, sensory, learning, cognitive and behavioural difficulties. Essar Oil is delighted to support their activities and contribute to the cause.
